Dean's Corner

Starting on October 13th, all Deans' Detention will be scheduled during the student's lunch period.  All students with detention must report directly to room 817 immediately when the first lunch bell rings. Students will be allowed to choose to receive a generic school lunch or bring their own.  Anyone who does not attend the scheduled detention will receive an out of school suspension for "Detention - No Show.'  Detention can only be rescheduled if the student has an excused absence on the day of the scheduled detention.

Nuisance Item Policy:  
Cell Phones or Electronic Devices Items will only be returned to student’s parent or guardian on the 703


        Progressive Discipline
        1. Warning
        2. Required Parent Conference
        3. Progressive Suspension for disregarding school rules
    
         Attendance Policy:  Students may have up to 10 unexcused absences per          semester. They will lose credit for the course on the 11th unexcused absence.
        
         Approved Absenses:
         Absences will be approved when:
         • A student is physically or mentally unable to attend school due
            to a medical appointment or illness;
         • The written approval of the principal has been given upon the
            request of the parent within three (3) days of the student's
            return from the absence;
         • The approval of the principal has been given for an
            unavoidable absence due to an emergency;
         • Absences have been prearranged, upon the prior written
            request of a parent or legal guardian; all prearranged absences
            (ten or fewer) will be approved through the attendance office;
         • The student is absent due to a required court appearance or a
            required religious holiday.
