         
English Welcome to our English department where we strive to offer a variety of courses to support all students’ abilities and interests. In addition to our literature and writing classes, we are proud of our growing Advanced Placement sections, our dedicated yearbook staff, our notable forensics team, our award-winning journalism and broadcast journalism programs. We also offer a college-level dual credit class through Nevada State College. The instructors are dedicated to help students achieve common goals such as ensuring proficiency in the reading and writing exams, strengthening higher-level thinking strategies, promoting acceptance among diverse cultures, and enhancing communication skills.
