The Physical Education department makes sure that every student has the ability to learn and practice the skills necessary to participate in a variety of group and individual physical activities with proficiency and improve their fitness level. We provide a safe environment where every student can develop confidence and encourage students to live a healthy and active lifestyle with a positive attitude.

The Dance program provides a comprehensive and equality dance education in an environment that nurtures the talent of each dancer. The dance program emphasizes modern dance with a strong supporting area in ballet technique. Students study such idioms as jazz, tap, ethnic, theatrical dance, improvisation and choreography. Regardless of the student ability in dance, Liberty dance program provides the opportunity to develop motivation and self-disciple, intellectual curiosity, and creative imagination. These attributes are essential for experiencing a fulfilling life.

The Health Education department at Liberty High school focuses on how to incorporate current scientific health information into everyday life, helping to promote individual health and wellness. Our staff emphasizes the development of critical analysis skills to determine if health claims are valid and reliable. We employ these two strategies with the end-goal being that each student will have the ability to use new health information and critical analysis skills to develop a wellness routine that will support their ambitions, while living a long happy and healthy life.

Liberty High School Driver Education is working hard at producing responsible, safe and courteous drivers. Students are learning motor vehicle laws and strategies that will enable them to meet this goal. So far, we have covered signs, signals and roadway markings, basic vehicle control and learned the IPDE process. The IPDE process trains drivers to Identify potential problems, Predict what might happen, decide what to do, and execute the correct decision.
