Class of 2019 Graduation

The Class of 2019 for Liberty High School will hold their ceremony on Wednesday, May 29th. at 12 noon at the Orleans Arena.

Attention Juniors

ACT Prep

There will be free ACT prep sessions offered every Tuesday and Thursday after school from 1:20-2:20 in Room 200. Test taking strategies will be discussed and practice exams will be given.

For the Safety and Security of Students and Staff:

Liberty is a "Closed Campus" and Students are NOT Allowed to Leave Campus During Lunch. Students who have a shortened schedule must ENTER and EXIT through the school’s Front Entrance Doors (by the flag pole) ONLY.

ID's will be checked.

If students have an open period, they ARE NOT ALLOWED to enter campus until the beginning of their first class and they must leave campus at the end of their last period.

Finally, students need to have a "late arrival or early out" sticker on their ID card to be allowed to leave campus. The stickers are available in the Dean's office.

Student Parking in Front of School Entrance:

The Staff Parking Lot on the Siddall Ave Side of the School is for Staff ONLY.
Please Do Not Park in that Area.

Morning Student Drop-Off Safety

Drop students off in front of the school at the Main ENTRANCE by the flag pole ONLY. Do not drop students off at the entrance of the staff parking lot on the north side of the school (by the church), and please do not drop students off on Bermuda.


Attendance Office

The Attendance Office is in Room 400 in the Quad. Please go to Room 400 to turn in your absent excuse notes, and for all of your attendance matters. Students who need to withdraw from Liberty should go to room 400, Monday-Friday 7:00-11:00 am.

Midterm Exams are Dec. 18th to 21st

Students will be Released from School Early at 10:45am
on Dec. 19th, 20th, & 21st

Exam Schedule


Liberty High School will be offering the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) Exam on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 here at school to any current Liberty 11th or 12th grader who is interested in pursuing a career in the U.S. military after high school.

Liberty Choir Performs at the Smith Center's
Annual Holiday Extravaganza Concert

On November 28, 2018, Dylan Hansen, Marco Pelayo, Jonathan Ehlers, Carolina Castillo, Fayzone Feazell, Lauren Ortiz, Alee Middleton, and Rebekah Lewis joined 200 CCSD Choir Students and teachers in the Annual Holiday Extravaganza Concert at the Smith Center. It is always a treat to perform on that great stage.

Liberty Choir Performs at the Coronado Living Center

The LHS Chamber Choir went caroling at the Coronado Living Center on Saturday, December 1,2018. They performed Holiday songs in the lobby of the facility and then went caroling through the halls for the residents who weren't able to make it to the lobby. We even gave a few special performances for those who were not able to leave their room.

Information is also provided to explain how student results are used by CCSD and the Nevada Department of Education to identify schools that need additional support as well as celebrate the efforts of successful schools demonstrating high levels of student achievement and growth.

The following Class of 2018 Liberty Patriots were recently accepted to the University of Nevada, Reno's highly selective Honors College. They are just three of only 126 incoming freshman to be so honored. Congratulations!

Congratulations Liberty 2018 Graduates!

The Graduation Rate for the Class of 2018 was 91.3%, and equals the graduation rate for the Class of 2017!

Both classes were had the highest graduation rate in our 16-year history!
