Greetings Liberty Families,

Welcome to Liberty HS, a Classical Studies school and the 2009-2010 school year. Our name, “Liberty” signifies what we are all about here; where learning, thinking and growing are the main underpinnings of our philosophy. It is our goal that students make quality social and career decisions that will lead to success in their lives. It is no secret what our vision is for our students and school community. ”All students and adults, regardless of background, ethnicity, or ability, have the opportunity to grow and be part of our school as our theyprepare for a successful life after high school” is our mission. Students are encouraged to be an active participant in their education and future plans. It is with this sense of pride that we began the 2009-2010 school year.  After several weeks, our attendance has averaged 98% with students and teachers off to a great start.  Our campus climate is peaceful and encouraging as students are in a safe environment for learning.  Parents voted to kep our Standard School Attire for another 4 years in the recent past, which truly contributes to our ‘climate for accomplishment’.

Parents and guardians are most welcome to attend our Parent Advisory Council meetings held the first Thursday of each month at 9:00 in the Library Conference Room.  This is a forum that promotes the understanding and functioning of our school’s goals, finances and our collective ideas and suggestions. We welcome your attendance and contributions.  Meetings are well attendned and parents work together with me for the betterment of our school.
